DIN 71802 joints consist of a DIN 71805 ball socket and a DIN 71803 ball body. The rotation angle for the type with safety latch (types CS, BS, CSN) is 15°, without safety latch (types C, B, CN) 18° Installation for the ball pushed into the tension washer that acts as a retainer. When the holding force between the ball and the socket (see the pulling force in the table above) is not sufficient, it can be increased by adding a safety latch that can be easily fitted.
